Active reading

Learning Outcome #3:

At the beginning of the year, and all through high school, it was difficult for me to take good notes and understand all the topics of a reading. Throughout this year with the help from my writing instructor, I became a lot better at active reading. I used to not underline anything, take any notes, and did not ask questions. I soon understood that this was important if I was going to write a good essay so I had to make a change. My active reading could still use a lot more work, but from not taking any notes, and not understanding what I am reading, To fully understanding specific concepts and circling specific words, my active reading has increase dramatically.
